More Local Art in Toronto

Luminato Gallery Art gallery
Established in 2025, Luminato Gallery showcases innovative works from both emerging and mid-career artists, with a focus on contemporary local and international talent. The Gallery is dedicated to giving back, and in honour of the founder’s late business partner, Wayne MacInnis, 10% of all sales are donated in support of cancer patients' treatments. Luminato Gallery also offers its exhibition space for private events at no rental cost. Ideal for receptions, corporate functions and formal gatherings, the gallery provides a unique atmosphere where art becomes part of the guest experience. As part of the Gallery's mission, each event will include the private auction of at least one artwork from Luminato Gallery’s current collection.
Gallery Arcturus Art gallery
A free, public art museum with multiple exhibit spaces throughout two historic buildings in downtown Toronto. There is no charge for admission. Visit the Genesis Gallery on the main floor and voyage up the Ascending Gallery, which is in fact the east stairwell. Stop on the second floor and explore the newest pieces in the Collage Gallery -- work which is often created onsite -- and settle down in the Library. On the third floor find the Drawing Room, the Dark Room plus the Photographic Gallery and try to spot St James Cathedral. End your visit in the lower level Workshop. -- Gallery Arcturus is not-for-profit and is funded by The Foundation for the Study of Objective Art, a private charity. Donations welcome but not required to visit.
